There's no point in correcting the grammar of these sentences as the basic facts are untrue.

If the ball does not cross the boundary you can take as many runs as you are able without being run out, or until the umpire calls 'dead ball' or a fielder calls 'lost ball'.

I would say the batsmen can "make" up to four runs. Bowlers/fielder can "take" wickets.

(I am continuing with the theme about a maximum number of runs, even though it's not true. This might interest some of you, regarding how many runs have been made off one ball.)

That's grammatical and true.
