History Studies

Hi,

American Studies, Pakistan Studies etc. are subjects taught in schools, colleges etc.

History is also a subject. I would like to know if it is correct to use "Studies" with "History" as "History Studies".

Basically, no. The academic subject is just 'History'.

I think you're right. You might say that the subject of history answers the question "What happened?" However, history studies is a different kettle of fish.
