Hi,
My question is about the difference between “continuous”, “continued” and “continual”.
After reading the definitions of “continuous”, “continued” and “continual” in Longman Dictionary, my understanding is “continuous” and “continued” mean happening without interruption while “continual” means something that happens frequently.
In this sentence:
How do we prevent these continual/continued/continuous breakdowns?
Continuous/ continued breakdowns mean the same thing whereas continual breakdowns mean happening frequently.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
