Please can you help me in how to improve my writing because most of the time I use the same vocabulary. So what do you suggest to get better?
Thanks,

(1) That old saying is really true: Practice makes perfect.
(a) Write something every day. (A paragraph of only four or five
sentences.)
(b) Read something every day. You will notice new words that
you will want to use in your own writing. (Remember that English
has the largest vocabulary of any other language.)
(c) Every week, post some of your writing in the writing forum.
Outstanding teachers will be delighted to correct your writing.
BEST OF LUCK
But don't forget the second part of TheParser's excellent advice. Reading is very, very important!Cool I like your ideas. I will try to write different subjects each week.
I have a question that is off topic.Remember that English has the largest vocabulary of any other language.
I have a question that is off topic.
I would like to know whether the quoted sentence employs a safe structure that no one, even the most picky one, would consider incorrect. I have seen it before, but thought it's colloquial. Would it be more correct (at least for some people) to write:
Remember that English has the largest vocabulary of all languages.
or
Remember that English has the largest vocabulary than any other language.
?

Actually, I do consider it incorrect. I did not feel in a picky enough mood to comment on it before.
Would it be more correct (at least for some people) to write:
Remember that English has the largest vocabulary of all languages. YES
Remember that English has the largest vocabulary than any other language.
NO - Remember that English has a larger vocabulary than any other language.
For the second one, I'm ashamed to see that I didn't manage to edit the post before someone read it. It is corrected now. I'm sorry -- it was caused by my tiredness.
I did think it a little odd that you would make a slip like that. It's a relief to see that I am not the only one to make mistakes this evening. For the second one, I'm ashamed to see that I didn't manage to edit the post before someone read it. It is corrected now. Don't be discouraged. It's always difficult at the beginning. You may want to try easier texts first. Here are some very easy texts: Easy Reading for ESL Beginners. If you look at the top of each page, you will notice an audio player. You can turn the sound on and off, as you prefer.hello. I'm Dear.
i think i have a lots of problem in speaking and writing skill.
when I have to write some article, i have to take a long time to think of words to write.
today i tried to read English novel-Sherlock Holmes- but i think it is too hard, complex sentence structures. What does the things i have to do to improve my English skill. :-(

IMO, the only way to learn to speak is to speak, and the only way to learn how to write is to write. If you feel you lack vocabulary, try expanding it. If I were in the US, I'd seize every opportunity to learn new words and expressions and, which is also important, how to use them. Reading books/magazines, listening to the radio, watching TV/movies and enrolling on a writing course are some good ways to broaden and refine your skills. In a nutshell, expose yourself to as much authentic English as possible. The process of learning shouldn't be passive though; you and your skills will benefit from writing down and memorizing collocations, fixed phrases, idioms and larger chunks of language. Set yourself a goal of using at least 3/4/5/... new words and expressions in every single piece of writing. Translating something from your native language into English could also enrich your vocabulary and boost your command of the language.
Good luck!
And I hope you'll hear one day: "You have a magical way with words!"

i agree with you in all the things that you have mentioned. however, learning English takes time and efforts, it's not easy as you think. but i wish all of us can speak and write as good as native speakers.
NOT A TEACHER
(1) As you can see from the mistake that I made in my first post,
all of us spend our whole lives trying to improve in the use of
our first language.
(2) For learners, it can be even more difficult. I am sure, however,
that little by little you will become fluent in English.
(3) May I most respectfully point out a little mistake in
your note? It is better to say:
I want to write as well as native speakers.
As you remember from your studies, "well" = adverb (how you do something.)
"Good" = adjective (describes a noun).
Of course, native speakers make the same mistake. Someday do not
be surprised if an American says to you:
Wow, tks!!!! You speak English real good!!! (Instead of "very well" or
or "really well").
Have a nice day.
