Hi,

Is "I spent the whole day at home, so I walked every corner of the home" correct?

I suppose it could be. What are you trying to say? That you walked everywhere inside the house?
:)

I think it has the general meaning of mulling around the house all day.

Why don't we wait for Untaught to tell us?

I think a house is too small for this expression. One might say he walked every corner of the neighborhood looking for his lost dog.

Some homes are very large.

I'm still waiting for Untaught to get back to us.

This is what I was trying to say: I walked everywhere inside the house. But is my sentence incorrect or unnatural?

I don't have a problem with your original but I would change the last word to "house", not "home".

Can you please tell me why you would use "house" in place of "home"?

I don't think it's very natural.

A house is a sterile object built for shelter. A home is a house with emotional attachment.

You can beautify your house and it would be your home. A home is usually full of charm and memories.

You walk around your house to look for your keys. You sit on a couch at home and watch TV.

If you're not doing anything particular that day, and you were bored or tired of sitting, you might just walk around the house to stretch or get some fresh air (back porch). That's a mechanical activity, so you should use "house."

Once you sit down again, you're at home, watching TV. That's a comfortable activity, so you should use "home".

Home is a place of comfort in your mind. "Home Sweet Home"
