"In playing online games, children are forced to cooperate and work together with each other in order to achieve a common goal or objective."
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, this is one of the uses of 'in': "used to show that doing one thing is the cause of another thing happening". However, I was told that it is wrong to use 'in' in the sentence above and that 'by' is the correct preposition. I think my use of 'in' is clearly in line with the Cambridge Dictionary's guideline. Am I right or wrong?
