Y Yourjones Guest Jul 24, 2014 #1 Hello, I did not do it to the page on purpose. So I am not sure if I still can say the page is dog-eared. Can you help? Thanks. Attachments Screenshot_2014-07-24-10-26-03.jpg 23 KB · Views: 10

Someone did it on purpose. (I do it because bookmarks fall out.) Dog-eared is not intentional. It's a result of normal wear. It usually refers to books that are old or have been read often. Bent can be intentional or not.

"'to dog-ear' "To turn down the corner of (the page of a book)." http://www.thefreedictionary.com/dog-eared And not all folds are intentional. Paper can become folded by all sorts of accident.
