Respected teachers please tell me which one is correct.
"Looking forward to see/meet you" or "Looking forward to seeing/meeting you"
I agree, if we are talking about full sentences. However, "Looking forward to meeting/seeing you" is very commonly used as closing words in an informal letter/message/text.The second, though it's not a complete sentence.
I am looking forward to meeting/seeing you.
A text? Silly boy! C U soon. Not in MY texts, of course. Mine say things like "Can't wait to see you tomorrow!" instead of CU <3, but I'm old.
(A little piece of me dies inside every time I see "ur" in anything other than a text.)
NO!Would you like to borrow my teen for a couple days? She'll have you up to speed in no time.
She makes her own bed, scoops the cat boxes, and spends most of her time reading. Really, she's no trouble!
Hear hear! I can't bear u/ur/sum1 etc even in text messages.
Sounds too good to be true. You must be a helluva mom! Or very lucky indeed. :-D
