People don't normally say they expect to get more than they paid for. But that seems to be what this person is doing.

People don't normally give you money to encourage you. Instead, they give you that money in exchange for a good or service.

I don't understand what's going on. Could you explain it using different words?

Yes, initially these were just sentences. I wanted to know the correct construction. But you got confused so I had to explain the whole scenario to you. Although I didn't want to write it here.
