Do you mean he expects four to five times as much work as he has paid for?

No.

Client expects four to five times the business of the paid money in terms of money(by selling their products). This money is being given to encourage us

@tufguy I'm confused. Your client gives you money. I got that part. However, after that I got lost. You seem to be saying that your client expects to get more than he/she paid for, but I'm not sure.

People don't normally say they expect to get more than they paid for. But that seems to be what this person is doing.

People don't normally give you money to encourage you. Instead, they give you that money in exchange for a good or service.

I don't understand what's going on. Could you explain it using different words?

Are you perhaps in promotions? Marketing, advertising? The client will spend x amount of money with you, but they expect an increase in sales to more than cover the cost of the promotion?

What do you mean by "the business of the paid money in terms of money"?
Let me explain.

I have just started working with my friend who owns a pharmaceutical company. We have to pay doctors in order to make them prescribe our medicines or supplements. We have to pay in cash. So, we give them an advanced amout and request them to prescribe our products and try to do four to five times of business of the given amount( we tell this only if they ask us what the procedure is).

This is the reverse of the procedure you described initially.

You started post #1 with "Our client gives us money in advance". That means someone pays you. Your later explanation says that you pay someone else (doctors). I'm sure you can understand why we're confused.

@tufguy You don't pay somebody to make them do something. You pay them to get them to do it.

Yes, initially these were just sentences. I wanted to know the correct construction. But you got confused so I had to explain the whole scenario to you. Although I didn't want to write it here.

How about the sentences?
Am I supposed to comment on something I don't have in front of me? Also, haven't you gotten feedback on that already?

You seem to be saying the confusion was his fault. It was not.

I don't understand the first sentence. In fact, I don't understand any of it.

(These posts make me think I should get paid more. 😊)
