"Our company lays great emphasis on teamwork among other things." (Idioms for TOEIC)
What does this sentence mean? My book treats it like "our company lays great emphasis on teamwork MOST". But "among other things" (see it in Longman) suggest there are still many others, right? Is my book wrong?

Yes.

Can you give us the title and author of the book, please?

Idioms for TOEIC (I give you its link) is the title of the book. It's published in Taiwan. Apparently, its translation of this sentence in Mandarin is incorrect.

I would say:

Our company puts great emphasis on teamwork.

If you want to mention other things you can produce another sentence for that.
:)

Lacking context, my inference is that "teamwork" is one or more of other things important to the company. If it were the only asset, I would replace "among" with "over".

Whoever produced that sentence did not say what they meant to say (whatever that was).
