[Grammar] Please help me with this if cluse punctuation

Hi there, I've just want to know if there is any punctuational error regarding my sentence? my teacher is underlined "human," as a punctuation error. Should I omit the comma preceded by "human"?

"Human, if use less of the precious available forms of energy-the oil, would be able to use it in some long-term efficient plans."

I don't think it's a punctuation error but the first word is incorrect.

Humans, if they used less of the available forms of energy (ie oil), would be able to make more long-term plans for fuel efficiency.

I've changed the end of your sentence the best I can but I'm really not sure what you were trying to say. Was your teacher happy with everything except that comma at the beginning?

The sentence is now OK! Unfortunately, I don't have a direct access with the one who correct my sentence-maybe he/she just didn't mention other mistakes. Anyway, I was trying to make the same point as you mentioned in the new sentence. Thanks.
