Is the expression "tricks to Ving" grammatically correct?

I don't like it. I'd say "Tricks for verb+ing" or "Tips on verb+ing".
It is acceptable to use an infinitive: "Tricks to verb"?

"Tricks to make' or 'tricks to making' are perfectly acceptable and natural in AmE. I also don't find anything wrong with her use of 'tricks' vs. 'tips'. While both work, I don't think it's fair to assume she's mixed the two terms up.

All her utterances are things I'd say myself.
