You made things clear in post #14, “You won't get anyone to ever say your construction is correct (and, indeed, it is
not)”. and in post #20, “I want to be clear that I'm not saying that this construction is correct. I'm just saying that I would understand what you meant, and I've heard people use it." When you gave the example that you considered correct, you stressed, “Now, I can think of one case where, TO ME, it would be correct”, and concluded with the words, “And I'm sure I'm the only one here that will think this is acceptable”. You were not at all misleading.
I am fairly sure that you will hear the type of example you gave in speech, where timing and stress can make the intended meaning clear. It is not ‘correct’ in that it does not follow the standard accepted pattern, and could be confusing in writing, but you were right to point out that learners may hear it, in my opinion.
