So, in a nutshell, my sentence is not an ideal one because it is ambiguous. However, it is not totally wrong/ ungrammatical as long as the listener understands the context. However, for the sake of clarity/ generality, I'd better give up using the original sentence to express what I intend to mean. Am I right?
