[Idiom] What idiom to use for 'make very clear'

Hi. Could anyone kindly suggest an idiom for 'making something clear beyond a shadow of doubt', 'putting an end to a debate' or 'making a categorical statement'? Thanks.
 
Maybe "make it crystal clear​".

No. You may be thinking of clear the air,​ but that has a different meaning.
 
How about "let me spell it out"?
 
If you're being sarcastic, you could say "Let me explain it in words of one syllable".

And what does it mean? How is it possible to explain something in words of one syllable? :-D
 
When you say Let me explain it in words of one syllable, you're insultingly implying that the person you're talking to isn't smart enough to understand longer words. It's very impolite.
 
That's why I suggested that it could be used if you were being sarcastic.
