HI there,

What's the right structure (can I say "What" in this case or is it better to say "which"? Are they interchangeable in this case? ):

-I didn't pay attention enough.

-I didn't pay enough attention.

Thanks a lot.

It´s better to use "which" because you have two options.

Are they interchangeable in this case?
Yes, they are.
):

-I didn't pay attention enough. :cross:

-I didn't pay enough attention. :tick:

Thanks a lot.

What is more general:

What sort of music do you like?
What is the capital of Greece?
What colour are her eyes?

Which is used when we are thinking about a small number of possibilities (perhaps 2, 3 or 4):

We can go this way or that way. Which way shall we go?
There are four umbrellas here. Which is yours?
Which colour do you prefer, red or blue?

Enough is used before a noun:

Do you eat enough vegetables?
I don´t have enough time.
He doesn´t drink enough water.

Enough is used after an adjective:

This dress isn´t big enough.
He was tall enough to play on the basketball team.
She's old enough to make up her own mind.

There are times when the normal order with enough is reversed with nouns, but I agree with Mara_ce here

-I didn't pay enough attention. :tick:

Dear Will,

Sorry for answering your question. Try to be more specific next time. If you say "Hi there", all members feel included. If I had read, for example, "Hi native (English) speakers", I wouldn´t have answered. ;-):-D
