Would you please help me out for the following phrasal verbs question?

My answers are as follows: (Correct me if I'm wrong, please!)

1.) to inherit: come into
2.) to tolerate: put up with
3.) to appear: turn up/ spring up/ show up
4.) to support: back up
5.) to resolve a problem: work out, figure out
6.) to think of, develop, or find something: come up with (Not sure)
7.) to accompany one to the point of departure for a trip and say good-bye upon departure: see off
8.) to warm yourself up: loosen up/ limber off
9.) to suddenly realize the reality of something: ( ?)
10.) to defend oneself: fight back (Not sure)
11.) to empty a place in order to redecorate it: clear out/ clean out
12.) to have the characteristics described: (?)
13.) to take part in an activity but not seriously(?)
14.) to originate: come from

Most of the ones you answered are correct.
"Loosen up"/"limber off" do not mean to warm oneself up. In fact, I do not recognise "limber off".
"Spring up" is a sudden and/or unexpected appearance; it does not fit with "turn up" or "show up" (which are correct answers to that question).

As for the ones you couldn't answer, I looked up them up, and 9 might be "catch on" or "get it", but one could also say "it hit me", and 13 as a phrasal verb would be "play at". I don't know off the top of my head a phrasal verb equivalent for number 12.

For #12, "fit the bill" would work.

What about 'answer to' for #12?

If you mean that as "the answer to" our problem, prayers, etc., it works pretty well.
