There are no metaphors or similes here:

Caesar said to me "Darest thou, Cassius, now
Leap in with me into this angry flood,
And swim to yonder point?" Upon the word,
Accoutred as I was, I plunged in
And bade him follow; so indeed he did.

I would say "such things as myself" contains a simple form of simile.
 

Actually, fivejedjon, you were perfectly correct as well. You returned to the actual text, where there were none, rather than examining more closely the OP's short list of hastily typed snippets. My instinct was to do the same thing. :up:
