Hello,
I have bought a battery but on the box of the battery this is written: 11.2013 310mAh UB2EAS
I don't know it refers to production date or expiration.
It's an earphone battery: on the box a website address is written too.
Any thought?

Thank you

The first 6 numbers seem to be a date. Since it is not 11/20/13 yet, it cannot be the date of manufacture. My guess is it is the "to be sold by" date (and they just made it), but it could be the expiration date, in which case I would return it. The rest is probably a product identification number. Call the manufacturer.

If it says 11.2013 (not 11.20.13) it could be the date of manufacture, simply denoting "November 2013".

310mAh: 310 milliampere-hours.
The mAh capacity rating refers to the storage capacity available for a particular battery. A battery with a capacity rating of 310mAh could deliver a current of 310mA for one hour, 62mA for five hours, ...

Everybody, have look at this link. It's a useful website about battery terms.

You must be very disappointed that you didn't find that website before posting your question. So much of your time could have been saved and you could have just asked about the expiry date.

It never fails to surprise me that there are so many websites about so many generally uninteresting topics! ;-)

Just my opinion, it would be better to ask this kind of question in an electronics forum such as allaboutcircuits.com, edaboard.com, electro-tech-online.com,...

...especially as you have seen fit, sb70012, to report other recent threads as not being language questions.
