    I have a doubt

Today I met with an accident,I escaped fortunately, but How safe I am?
Is that correct "How safe I am" or I should use "how safe am I"

"How safe am I?" is a question. I think this is what you mean.
"How safe I am!" is an exclamation. You are asserting that you are safe. I don't think you mean that. You could say, given the fact that you escaped, "How lucky I am!"
