"Remain here!" he commanded. "If you stir one step your blood will be on your own head!" ??

What is the meaning of "
your blood will be on your own head"? Is this a set phrase?
How will I use it in my own sentence?

hi adam
i think this phrase has the same meaning as this one:"have blood on one's hand",that means:be responsible for the death of someone.
for instance:The leaders of this war have the blood of many thousands of people on their hands

Yes- you will be responsible for your own death/injury.

:?: To my ear, having someone's blood on your hands (skyhigh0 - note always plural, regardless of how many people are involved) is not the same as someone's blood being 'on your head'. With 'hands', the other person has died; with 'head' they haven't. In skyhigh0's example 'many thousands of people' have already died.
