Are the contractions "How'd - How's" considered bad English or not ?

Some examples;
How did you that? --> How'd you that?
How does that happen? --> How's that happen?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

PS: I'm not asking about "How'd - How would"

I met contradictions of 'how would' and 'how did' in a dictionary.
But "how's"? I'm not a polymath.

"How do you that" is not a proper sentence. As in questions with other verbs, you need the main verb (here "do") and the auxiliary of "do".

Note however, that there's very little distinction here between "did" and "do".
How'd you do that? (did)
How d'you do that? (do)

How does that happen? --> How's that happen?
This would be more often: "How d's that happen?" with a schwa for the '.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

This is usually alright in speech. It's not advisable in writing.
How's is usually "How is"

Raymott has given you a response that I agree with, but I don't really understand your PS. There are two sounds: /hɑʊz/ and /hɑʊd/.

They map like this:
/hɑʊz/ -> how is, how does, how has
/hɑʊd/ -> how did, how do, how had, how would

I don't see what basis there can be for saying "This sort of /hɑʊd/ is OK, because it means 'How would'" - that is asking us to comment on something that may be going on in your mind. The data is /hɑʊd/ . You're asking 'Is this bad English when I think it means something that will only be clear in a context that I'm not telling you about?' :?:

Thanks for the answers. I'd noticed the obvious mistake in my example, and thought that I corrected it but apparently I didn't. Yes, the example is as corrected;

How did you do that? --> How'd you do that?

As for the PS, I meant to prevent any confusion that I asked about the contradiction of "How would" as well. I didn't thought that it would be such a problem.
