Hello,teachers! How to understand the word" fun "here?

Is it a noun or an adjective? If it's a noun, why can it be used with more? If it's an adjective, Is its comparative form more fun? Thank you!:):up:

That must be a lot more fun than taking a bus

It's quite usual to use more with nouns.

fun = noun.

much - many - most = adjective
many - more - most = adjective

I have more friends than you.
I drank more wine than Fred did.
I had more fun in London than (I had) in Paris.
