Hi all teachers!
a/ Herd is a group of animals of the same type that LIVE and FEED together.(taken from oxford dictionary)
The verb "live" and "feed" agree with "animals"?
but A group of animals lives and feeds together.
Therefore, it means that the relative clause modified the preceding noun which is "animals" in example a.
What about "the same type" in example a?
It's very confusing!!!
Teachers, would you please clarify this?
Thanks a lot.
