If I've posted this in the wrong forum, please advise.
The link provided gives a definition of "real" from Robert Cawdry's 1604 A Table Alphabeticall. I think others will have little difficulty scrolling down to the word. I'm not familiar with this old style, but I believe it reads: "real, substantial, or that is indeed subsisting."
Have I got that right?
