Just a point on the use of possessive adjectives or pronouns before gerunds. "Remember" is one of several verbs that can be followed by either a possessive adjective (in this case "his") or an object pronoun ("him") when it precedes a gerund. Frankly, I would prefer to use "him" in the example.

Thank you all.
My question comes from the following exercise.
- Tom was a really intelligent boy when we were in high-school. I still remember………..very intelligent .
A.
his asking
B.
asking him
C. him to ask

D.
his being asked
The key is A.

But I have just searched for it on Google and found the original. (the same as what Mr.5jj said.)
- Tom was a really intelligent boy when we were in high-school. I still remember………..very intelligent
and strange questions.
A.
his asking
B.
asking him
C. him to ask

D.
his being asked

Yes. Given those choices, A. would be correct.

By the way
Ex:
- I still remember his answering my questions very clearly.
Someone says that in this sentence very clearly modifies remember, not answering.
Is it right, please?

It's slightly ambiguous. You could make your meaning clear by choosing one of these two:

- I still remember very clearly.his answering my questions.
- I still remember his very clearly answering my questions.

Incidentally, I agree with bill mcd - I would use 'him' in these sentences.
