What is the meaning of 'to take a trip on something' ?

Have you got more context? It could be literal, could be a drug reference, etc.

PS Could you not use ??? as a title- give the title some indication of the contents. Thanks

Thank you for your respond.

It must be literal, I think: 'To take a trip on your love for somebody'. It's the last sentence of Kate Bush' song "The man with the child in his eyes". She ends with the words 'I just took a trip on my love for him'.

I want to know what it means exactly.

Any idea?

It doesn't sound literal to me. It seems to be more like getting a feeling of euphoria (similar to that caused by some drugs) brought on by your love.
