[Grammar] He (will come, will be coming) sometime soon. --Prediction/Guesses

I have read that Simple Future and Future Continuous are both used for prediction or guesses of what will happen in the future. By the way, I know the other uses but this one is what confuses me.

For example, "He (will come, will be coming) sometime soon." Both sentences seem correct to me. I know "he" may or may not come. I just cannot tell the difference.

Which is the right tense to be used here? Are there any slight differences between them regarding their usage in predicting events/actions?

Another example that I guess can help:

1) By 2050, most people will drive hybrid cars.
1) By 2050, most people will be driving hybrid cars.

P.S. If the sentence is "He is going to come sometime soon", the "going to" implies as a planned action. I think will or will be are for unplanned action.
