Is it logical for a person who wants to rent a house saying,"I'd like to know whether you have any three-bedroom houses to rent."? Is it better to say, "a three-bedroom house"?

It makes sense if you are asking if he has more than one such house. If you are asking if he has one such house, use "bedroom".

What do you mean by using "bedroom" if we are asking if he has one such house? Does it make sense to say, "I'd like to know whether you have any three-bedroom houses to rent." if we are asking if he has one such house?

If you believe the person only has one such house for rent, then ask "Do you have a three-bedroom house to rent?" If you think he has more than one, ask "Do you have any three-bedroom houses to rent?"

I don't think most people would assume you wanted to rent more than one house. If you're not sure how many they have, use "I'd like to know if you have any three-bedroom houses to rent".

Funnily enough, in my first post, I nearly added a "PS" saying "someone is bound to suggest three-bedroomed in this thread at some point!" Thanks for not disappointing me.
