Is English Intonation is fixed?

I'm a student in South Korea,
and I'm preparing for IBT TOFEL speking section,
but I'm wondering is the standard of intonation is fixed.
When I listen to several English speaking files,
each has different points that emphasizes in intonation.

Is that true? or there is a firm standard?

I'm not sure I understand your question fully, but intonation can allow for variations of meaning, so there is variation, but people trying to use intonation to express irony/sarcasm would generally follow similar patterns.

OK, let's take an example- how would you say Yeah if you wanted a) to agree, b) to check comprehension and c) to be incredulous?
