Which one of these words look better in the following sentence? "You will fail the exam unless you start (to study) or (studying)"
 
Which one of these words look better in the following sentence? "You will fail the exam unless you start (to study) or (studying)"

I would say: "You will fail the exam unless you study." or "You will fail the exam unless you start studying (for it)."
