Hello

I've recently started work for a new company, and it uses the slogan 'Your truly partner for a better future'. I mentioned to my boss that I thought this was incorrect grammar, but he is adamant that it is right. With the word 'truly' being an adverb I am under the belief that it shouldn't precede a noun (partner). What do you think?

Thx :)

Of course it's not right.

Welcome to the forums.

You are correct.

Please take the trouble to write words in full. We don't accept chatspeak like thx on a forum dedicated to good English.

Unless you're Benny Hill:

"FUNEX?" (eggs - spoken with a fake Austrian accent)
"S - VFX"
"R - FUNEM? (ham)
"S - VFM"
"OK. ILF...MNX!"
