Hi,

My textbook states:

The victim was neither left alone after the accident, nor after the ambulance took her to hospital.

I think there is faulty parallelism in the sentence.

I think the following version is better.

The victim was left alone neither after the accident nor after the ambulance took her to hospital.

Correct me, please.

I don't find either very natural. I would write it as "The victim was not left alone after the accident, nor was she after the ambulance took her to hospital".

I would write a similar sentence to bhaisahab's but I wouldn't bother with "was she".

The victim was not left alone after the accident, nor after the ambulance took her to hospital"
