It's a kind of peas which is dried in front of heat or fire and people use it among nuts.

What is your question?

I don't know what the name of 'dried chickpeas' is. Here they are called 'spiced roasted chickpeas' but I think there might be a simpler word.

We use salty 'dried chickpeas' with 'raisins' as a kind of nut.

The word might be gram. Does gram sound like it might have a Persian origin?

Chickpea itself is a simpler word for garbanzo nut, but hardly anybody will have heard of that.

I think you mean 'We eat salted dried chickpeas with raisins as a kind of snack'.

I call it roasted channa.
