Does anybody know?:
I have a question: What is the difference between using the verb in the infinitive or using the verb in the infinitive form + ING? I know that the preposition TO + ING form is also used to indicate the infinitive form of the verb. For example: "What is the secret to reaching fluency in a language?" I know I should use " What is the secret to reach fluency in a language?" I also found this sentence using the same grammar pattern :"The Secrets to Developing Advanced Fluency in a Foreign Language"
Is there any specific explanation to use the TO + Verb + ING form? I do appreciate your answer. Thanks a lot, teachers!
