If someone asks:

Are there any TVs in your bedroom? can I reply: No, there isn't any. Or do I have to reply: No, there aren't any. It just seems to me ridiculous to reply in plural. Who has more than one TV in their bedroom? Or is it the question that should be: Is there a TV in your bedroom?

Thank you!

It would make more sense for the question to be "Is there a TV in your bedroom?" although you will hear the plural. However, generally, we answer in the singular if the question was in the singular and the same goes for the plural.

Note, though, that you are more likely to hear "Do you have a TV in your bedroom?" and for the answer to be "Yes I do" or "No I don't".
