Can you suggest me a totally English Grammar book?

I want an English Grammar book that only contains deep and complete explanation about American English Grammar without exercises? Can you suggest me a book?
 
I'll leave it to American speakers for their choice, but Michael Swan's Practical English Usage covers general grammar and usage very well indeed.
