In the following interview, Josh Homme explains how to pronounce his name.

Unfortunately, there is a part of the conversation that is not really intelligible to my non-native speaker ears. It's between 00:07 and 00:14.

Here is what I understand:

If I ever could leave the state, it's "Homme". That's ... that's what...
- If you go to France, it's "Homme"?
- If I go to the rest of Europe, it's "Homme"

Could you please help me correct my transcript?

To my ears it sounds like there is a word between 'ever' and 'leave' in the first sentence. Is it just because he is faltering?
In the second sentence, I could not really hear the word 'go' even though I could deduct it was there. Was it really pronounced?
In the third sentence, I also noticed that 'to' was not pronounced. Is this grammatically correct?
