Hi, can anyone tell me if "belonging to" in the following sentence is a verb in the gerund because the "belonging" is continuous? Or am I wrong?
Going far away is linked to belonging to an economical class.
This is is a correction that my teacher made and I wrote the following:-
Going far away is linked to belong to an economical class.
I'm talking about travel in the sentence.
Thank you!
