"You can’t enter the area if you are not allowed to." vs "You can enter the area if "

Hi.
Nobody is allowed to enter the area without permission.
A. You can enter the area if you ask for permission.
B. You can’t enter the area under any circumstances.
C. You can’t enter the area if you are not allowed to.
D. You are not allowed to enter the area because of the permission.

The key is C, but why is A incorrect please?

Re: "You can’t enter the area if you are not allowed to." vs "You can enter the area

Because asking for permission and actually being given permission are two different things.

I am not a teacher.

The problem with A. is that you are only asking for permission.

You must obtain it before being allowed to enter the area.
