1. You need not have gone there

2. You need have gone there.(?)

3. You had needed to go there.(?)

I want to write affirmative form of 1st sentence. which is the correct form (2 or 3)

Neither 2 nor 3 is what I intended to convey.
 
"You should have gone there", "It was necessary for you to go there".
