"Appendix 1 and 2" or "Appendices 1 and 2"?

Table 1 shows the comparison between A and B.
Details about A and B are shown in Appendix 1 and 2, respectively.

In the above sentence, should I say "Appendices 1 and 2"?
I mean, should I use the plural form?
I know there are two things (1 and 2) and the plural form is "appendices", but I thought maybe it's not necessary to use the plural form because "Appendix" might be able to modify both of 1 and 2.

Use the plural.

(Some people use "appendixes." I prefer "appendices.")
