I'd be very thankful if someone would paraphrase this passage! Although I understand the general message of the text (we must not be rigid, but broken and contrite (melted) in spirit so that God could transform us), I don't understand what these bold words mean respectively (in this context).
"Only melted gold is minted. Only moistened clay receives the mold. Only
softened wax receives the seal. Only broken, contrite hearts receive the
mark as the Potter turns us on His wheel, shaped and burnt to make the
heavenly mark, the mold of God’s pure gold."
