Which is correct?
A. "She and I are traveling separate from our daughter"
B. "She and I are traveling separately from our daughter"
I believe its A but am not sure. It may be that this construct is awkward and should be avoided. I believe that in B, separately describes the actions "she" and "I" are taking. Adding the word "from" confuses the issue (I think). The sentence continues "..who will be with her team." if that makes a difference.
Many thanks
