Hello everybody,
I'd like to know the difference between using "that you + verb" and using "for you to + verb" after "(all I) need", "love", "like", etc.
Some examples:
I'd love that you come. / I'd love for you to come.
I like that you are such a gentleman. / I like for you to be such a gentleman.
All I need is that you fix my car. / All I need is for you to fix my car.
It's important that you be strong. / It's important for you to be strong.
Would you say either of the structures is wrong?
