Hello everyone,

Do you use in English " Ponte en mi situación" ?

Would it be puto yourself in my situation , put yourself in my shoes?
For example , could you say : I am not going to do it , please put yourself in my situation . Would you do it if you were me?

Regards

I think that you can also say "put yourself in my place". (not a native speaker)

I would use "Put yourself in my place" but "shoes" and "situation" both work.

In addition to emsr2d2's suggestions, I might use "Think about it from my point of view", or "Look at it from my point of view". Whether or not you use please will depend on the situation, and personal preference.
