Hi, everyone.

I have three sentences here.

All you have to do is to swich on the power.

All you have to do is swiching on the power.

All you have to do is swich on the power.

Are they all correct?

Many thanks

Richard

#2 is incorrect.
#1 is acceptable.
#3 is the best.

None is correct because you have misspelt "switch/switching".

cubezero, please note that a better title would have been To switch/switching/switch.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

I think the clause that follows "to' is in the imperative mood (an advice).
There is a song called "All you have to do is dream".

The underlined word in the above post is not a hyperlink.

For some reason, the hyperlink has attached itself only to the first letter of that word. That's why only the "h" appears in blue.

Sorry about that. I've fixed it.

If I had correctly spelt the word switch, would all these three sentences be correct?

See Teechar's post #2.
