Hi,

*self-made*

- Many celebrities started to support Barack Obama, like Brad Pitt and Jack Nicholson.

I'd like to ask if it correct to use 'like' at the end of the sentence or not.

Thanks.

You could say: Many celebrities, such as Brad Pitt and Jack Nicholson, supported Barack Obama.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

Hello, Ademoglu:

You have already received the answer from two teachers. I only thought that you might find this information interesting.

"Such as is similar to like for introducing examples, but it is more formal, and is used more in writing than like. She has worked in several countries where English is spoken as a first language, such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada and so on. (or, less formal, ... like Australia, New Zealand, Canada and so on.)"
