Hi

I want to know if the followings are correct given the paragraph below;

1- The research project MONT supports the present research.
2- The
research project MONT is co-financed by two following (1) the European Regional Development (2) the research project N501158640.
3- The research project MONT is financed by the European Regional Development under the name "the operational programme Innovative Economy".
4- The research project N N501158640 is sponsored by the Polish National Science Center.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The research presented in this book has been supported by funding from the research project MONIT (No. POIG.01.01.02-00-013/08-00) co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the operational programme Innovative Economy and research project N N501158640 sponsored by the Polish National Science Center.

Is this homework?

Homework or not, you might want to take a closer look at the acronym you cite. :)

No, it has nothing to do with homework, reading an article I encountered the acknowledgment which seemed me a bit complicated to understand as I encounter such composition many times I would like to undrestand them completely.
I would be glad if you clarify it for me.

The word "research" is both a noun and a verb. As a noun it is, generally speaking, a noncount noun.

Say:

I want to know if the following sentences are correct given the paragraph that follows.

(The second one is unclear.)

Thank you for helping. But still I would like to know if the items I've listed are correct? Could you please clarify for me that paragraph?

Thank you a lot.

Three out of four are correct.

The second one is incorrect?

Say:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tarheel, if the second is not the incorrect one, which of them is?

Tarheel, if the second is not the incorrect one, which of them is?

Well, I can't tell if the research is ongoing or not. It might be finished. In fact, it might have been finished a long time ago. So only the one that refers to "present research" is not correct beyond any doubt. The research could, in fact, be finished. There is no way to tell.

I think the second is problematic.
