Could you help me discover the mistake in this sentence please? The sentence is " payment can made by Shake of in cash " ,
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums. It's not a sentence because it doesn't start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. Also, "Shake of in cash" is meaningless so it's impossible to point out a mistake.

Welcome to the forum, فاطمة, (how do you say that?)

Please note that a better title would have been payment can be made by Shake of in cash.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

Payment can made by Shake of in cash looks like something Google Translate generated. It means nothing in English. "Shake of in cash" may be Google's attempt to translate the name of a wireless payment system.

Welcome to the forum, فاطمة, (how do you say that?)

If I remember my Arabic transliterations correctly, I think it would be something like Fatamah or Fatimah (there seems to be a missing or obscured diacritical marking on the medial short vowel).

Romanized as one of the many variations of Fatima/Fatma/Fatemah, etc.

Perhaps the OP will supply us with her preferred Romanization and verify if those two semesters of Arabic back in college are finally paying dividends for me....

Perhaps you mean "by cheque" instead of "by shake."

Ah! I see!

... by cheque(check) or in cash ...

That makes sense!

I thought she meant "by Sheikh".

How many Sheikhs to the Egyptian Pound these days, Raymott? ;-)

Note sure about Sheikhs. There's 0.5 Shekels.

PS: How many Shekels should a Sheikh shake if a Sheikh shook Shekels?
